The best luxury hotels aren't just beautiful
I didn’t start Lux Fam Travel to just plan trips. I started it after years of staying at luxury hotels and seeing how differently they feel when they’re experienced the way they’re meant to be.
The best luxury hotels aren’t just beautiful. They recognize you, understand how you travel, and quietly take care of details you never had to ask for. Those experiences reshaped how I think about time away, especially while balancing a demanding career and family life.
Most travelers never see this side of luxury. Not because they’re choosing the wrong hotels, but because booking through transactional platforms removes the very context that makes these experiences exceptional.
Lux Fam Travel exists to ensure luxury hotels are booked with the same level of care they’re known for, so clients arrive feeling welcomed, understood, and truly at ease.
Before you book
The traveler who left that five-star review may have been staying at a property in this tier for the first time. Their reference point isn't yours. A hotel that genuinely surprised them might be exactly average for what you're paying.
A 50-room resort hosts only so many guests per year. Filter to stays that match yours and you're working with a handful of data points. That's not research.
The guests who could actually help you, the ones who've been back three times, noticed when service slipped after a GM change, don't write reviews. They don't have time.
What you need isn't the best hotel in a city. It's the best hotel for how your family travels. Those are different questions, and only one has a real answer.
We focus on getting you VIP treatment at the world's best hotels with perks like upgrades and credits at no extra cost compared to booking yourself.
“Farrah considered every single wishlist item we shared and created our perfect vacation. .”
She is officially going to be part of every trip we try and plan in the future! She continued to fine tune the itinerary to make sure that it flowed perfectly to allow for us to balance travel with exploring and rest. It was a curated itinerary to allow our first visit to Japan feel like an overview of the highlights and feel like we managed to experience enough traditional and key elements so as to not miss out. We were prepared with everything from how to handle the jet lag, download payment apps, and even custom information for how to navigate certain situations. We couldn't have done it without her!

"Farrah made magic happen for me for my 40th birthday.”
I’d never booked a luxury hotel and was nervous about it — spending that amount of money on one night was a big deal for me and I needed it to be really special! she shared some options and told me that the mandarin had everything I was looking for — she had taken her own kid there and that was so great to hear about. She booked our room and added notes so that the hotel knew all about us and took such good care of us. I’d book any holiday with her.

"Farrah is the best! She recommended Amanzoe and it definitely hit the spot.”
I was a little unsure initially at booking the Aman but Farrah was super helpful and patient in providing details, alternatives, and comparisons and reviews which ultimately lead me to taking a leap of faith with Amanzoe. I wouldn't have done it without her!!! She also made the stay at Amanzoe special, no details were spared for our birthday celebration and our room was upgraded per request.

When most people think of a travel agency, they think of trip planning, itineraries, activities, and logistics.
Lux Fam Travel takes a different approach.
We focus on how your hotel is booked, because in luxury travel, that determines how you’re treated once you arrive. When a hotel is booked with the right context and relationships, you're welcomed, recognized and made to feel like the most important person in the room, not just an anonymous reservation.
By working directly with top hotels and preferred partner programs, we ensure our clients are received with care and attention from the moment they arrive. When the hotel feels right, the entire trip feels elevated.
We can plan the full journey when needed, but our expertise is making sure the hotel sets the tone.

Reviews work at most price points. At this level, the tool breaks.
The guests writing reviews about $1,500-a-night properties aren't all people who stay there regularly. Some are. Many aren't. You can't tell the difference from a star rating, and neither can an algorithm averaging them together. Add in boutique properties with limited room counts and the data thins out fast.
I've talked to hundreds of clients about stays at the same properties. That context tells you things a review can't: which GM change quietly hurt the service, which room category has the best light, where a property overpromises on families.
The other thing I can do: tell you which hotel is right for how you specifically travel. "Best in Mexico" isn't a useful answer. Best for two adults, a 5-year-old and an 8-year-old, connecting rooms required, adults want one dinner without kids at the table, that's a real question. That's what I answer.
Good. That's the conversation I want to have.
I won't recommend a property just because it's well-known or reviews well. I'll tell you when something on your shortlist is wrong for how you actually travel (wrong kids club age range, a property that's slipped since a management change, a room category that sounds right but delivers the wrong experience for your family) and what I'd book instead.
I'll also push back on your shortlist when I need to. Most advisors won't. It's easier to book what the client asks for. But a client who came in skeptical about Aman and left calling it one of her best trips is more useful to both of us than a booking that looked good on paper and landed flat.
If you have strong opinions about where you want to stay, bring them. That starting point makes the conversation faster, not harder.
I create flexible itineraries tailored to your preferences. Whether you want every detail mapped out or prefer a more spontaneous approach, I’ll give you all the tools you need to enjoy the trip without the stress of over-scheduling.
Not at all. You’ll pay the same rate (or less) as booking online, but with all the added benefits and personal touches that make a vacation seamless.
If you’re a busy professional who doesn’t have time to research, plan, or handle every travel detail, I’m here to help. My clients value ease, exclusive perks, and having someone handle all the details so they can relax.
